Course Content

Logistics and supply chain management have evolved from a functional focus  on transportation and warehousing into a key enabler of global value creation. Building on the Operations Management course, this module provides an advanced perspective on how logistics and supply chains can be designed and managed to create competitive advantage in complex, uncertain environments.

The course focuses on core decision areas in logistics and supply chain management, including product–supply chain fit, demand uncertainty, inventory positioning, distribution and fulfillment design, transportation trade-offs and sustainable transportation. Students work with real-world cases and analytical exercises to develop and assess logistics strategies and supply chain configurations.
