Supply Chain Management Practice Project

Participation Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for participation in the course. But basic understanding of supply chain management concepts is benefical.

Course Content

In this course, students will embark on developing their own practice projects that address significant and contemporary challenges in logistics and supply chain management. They will be responsible for forming teams, selecting relevant topics, and defining the project scope within these dynamic fields. Students will have the option to either engage in a consulting project, working in close collaboration with a chosen partner company, or to conduct an interview-based project, interacting with practitioners and industry experts to gain valuable insights. With regular guidance and feedback from the lecturers, students will apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, enhancing their problem-solving and analytical skills. The final output can take various forms, showcasing the depth of their research, analysis, and practical application. This final deliverable should comprehensively cover the insights and findings derived from the project work or interviews. Possible end products include:

• A detailed written report that summarizes the key findings and recommendations
• A traditional case study format, complete with case analysis and teaching materials designed to facilitate learning and discussion
