Course Content
To get a good understanding of the role Singapore plays in the Asia-Pacific region, the immersion program combines
- class meetings,
- company visits,
- cultural experience
- and project work (individual and in teams).
The program provides an Asia-centric perspectives especially on the following topics:
- Technology and Innovation in Asia
- The start-up eco-system in the region
- Governance and Sustainability of a Smart City
- Fintech and Wealth Management
- Business Culture in Asia
Intended Learning Outcomes and Competencies
- Introducing the business environment of one of the world’s most advanced economies on a continent of increasing economic importance.
- Helping participants strengthen their appreciation of the business and economic dynamics in Asia and Singapore.
- Understanding why –from the fastest-growing start-ups to the world’s large multinational corporations–Singapore continues to be the destination of choice for many businesses that wish to expand their growth in Asia.
- Comprehending the reasons why Singapore has become so wealthy (the latest GDP per capita ranking shows Singapore in 5thplace overtaking the US for the first time).
