Seminar: Sustainable Marketing: Research and Practice - Q3
Course Content
This seminar focuses around the question how marketing can contribute to sustainability. This question is viewed from different perspectives: consumer, business and policy. The seminar will cover the following topics:
Different perspectives on sustainability and sustainable development and their importance for business and society
Current environmental, social, and economic challenges and their implications for marketing
Sustainability marketing strategies and goals
Challenges and trade-offs in sustainability marketing (e.g., between growth, profitability and sustainability)
Sustainable consumer behavior: Sustainable consumption and the attitude-behaviour gap
Sustainable branding and marketing mix decisions
After an introductory session, students are offered a choice of topics for their seminar paper. They will present and discuss their results in class.
