FTMBA2026 International Business in a Changing World Order: Macroeconomic and Political Perspectives

Course Content

This course explores key macroeconomic and political forces shaping international business in the 21st century. It examines the foundations of markets, capitalism, and free trade as drivers of global prosperity; analyzes the profound economic challenges posed by demographic aging; and assesses the economic dimensions of climate change and sustainability. Through a blend of theoretical frameworks and policy discussions, students will gain a critical understanding of how shifting global dynamics influence business strategy, competitiveness, and long-term economic growth.

  • Students will understand and evaluate global geoeconomic developments.
