Basic knowledge in Business and Economics
Course Content
The course focuses on the social, political and economic dimensions of global business and their interaction. It introduces students to important economic concepts that are relevant for companies involved in international business. In doing so it combines the broader geoeconomic (macro) perspective with the management perspective on topics such as international trade and global financial linkages, the rising protectionist policies and its implications, as well as the recent trends in geoeconomics. A special emphasis is put on the European perspective.
